Superlocal posted another great photo of Seoul life. It’s like a soft serve ice cream knife. A knife that I would repeatedly stab myself in the mouth with. Wait, this post is getting weird.

Speaking of Wes Anderson, this sentence from the Wikipedia entry on Peter Sarstedt, whose song is used in Anderson’s short film, made me laugh:
"Other Sarstedt songs include "Beirut", "Take Off Your Clothes" and "Frozen Orange Juice" (UK #10 in 1969)."

It’s weird. I went to Apple’s iTunes to download the free Wes Anderson short film "Hotel Chevalier" but couldn’t find it. Search showed up nothing and there was no mention of it on the front page. It’s like they are hiding it. I finally found a blog that has a link at the bottom of the post that pops up iTunes and takes you right to the film. I had no idea that Natalie Portman was in it. Nor that she is nude for a large part of it. I wonder if that’s why it was so hard to find?

Here’s the trailer for Michael Haneke’s Funny Games remake mentioned on Monsterfest. It looks like the same as the original judging by the trailer. The director is still Haneke, who is ten times more interesting than most directors out there. But why do the same story over? I saw the original, why can’t everyone else do the same thing?
Idea! Let Andrew "mumblecore" Bujalski, of Funny Ha Ha direct the remake! Then let Haneke remake "Funny Ha Ha". How great would that be? I’d pay double ticket prices to see those films. Can’t those Dogma 95 directors make that a new rule?
