One of the most acclaimed writers of contemporary American fiction, Jonathan Lethem is also one of our country’s most observant commentators on American popular culture. The celebrated novelist and essayist will appear in the Dryden Theatre on Saturday, February 9 for the screening of Nicholas Ray’s 1956 masterpiece, Bigger Than Life.

9 years later and I still get mad

Look! Harris, one of my favorite characters from the TV show Freaks and Geeks, does video game reviews for Vice Magazine.  He looks the same. I’ve been watching Freaks and Geeks on DVD this month and it’s my new favorite thing. Holds up so well. The only bad part is how mad I get thinking about it being canceled after one season. Nerd rage!
