Ha, I like how the writer in this New York Times article on Korean food tells the reader to Google something instead of explaining what it is. Like the writer is saying, I don’t have time to explain this to you and really you should know already. I think this marks a huge moment where blogging style sneaks into formal Journalism.
It is here that many New Yorkers and visitors first taste kimchi (spicy fermented vegetables), bulgogi (thinly sliced marinated beef) and bi bim bop (Google it), and here that Koreans and Korean-Americans gather for parties and social events.
